Frequently Asked Questions

Honestly? Not ours. Real sea moss gel - when it's cleaned the right way - is neutral. No strong taste. Think of it like a smooth, almost tasteless applesauce.

We triple wash our sea moss, so you're not getting that gritty, dirty aftertaste. It's just like greens… if they're not cleaned right, you know immediately (and yeah… you can't eat everybody's greens).

Some people might catch the slightest hint of the ocean on the back end, but most people taste nothing at all - especially when you mix it into smoothies, oatmeal, coffee, or tea. Now that fake, overly processed or bleached stuff?

That's where that fishy taste comes in. That's your red flag.

Ours? Clean. Smooth. No ocean vibes.

The standard serving is 2 tablespoons per day.

People take it however works for them: - Straight to the head: two tablespoons, chase with water (Monique's method)

- In smoothies: blends right in, you won't taste it - In coffee or tea: stir it into your morning cup - In oatmeal, yogurt, or pancake batter: perfect for breakfast - Spoonful straight up: quick and done in 5 seconds

You can take it any time of day, with or without food.

Most people prefer mornings for the energy boost.

Fridge: 3 to 4 weeks. Freezer: up to 6 months. If you're taking the recommended 2 tablespoons a day, one pound of gel lasts about 2 weeks.

Most customers reorder every 2-4 weeks, which is why we built the subscription option - Save 15% and never run out.

Most sea moss on Amazon (and a lot of online vendors) is pool-grown - meaning it's farmed in artificial saltwater pools, often with added nutrients to make it grow faster.

It's also frequently bleached white to look "premium." Real wildcrafted sea moss is rope-grown directly in the ocean, gets its color from the minerals in the water, and ranges from gold to dark brown.

Ours is rope-grown in a single cove in St. Lucia, sun-dried, hand-cleaned, and cold-processed below 110°F so the minerals stay intact.

Every batch is traceable. If you didn't see them touch it at the source, don't trust them as a source.
